Dear Friend,
As we enter into Week 2 of our Divine study, I want you to know I'm so happy we're taking this journey together. We were created for this adventure of knowing God. And what a wonder that God himself, through the Holy Spirit, is the one who leads us on! God delights in revealing himself to us as we seek him, and we can always seek him through his word to us - the Bible. I encourage you to take some time this week to read the scripture passages below. Whether you read a different verse/passage each day and think/pray about the reflection questions, or read them all in one sitting, I encourage you to do something that can help you remember to think about God as your Creator throughout this week. Post a sticky note where you'll see it with one of the verses or a phrase you want to remember. These verses might not teach you anything NEW, but in my Sister Circle conversation last week, Christina and I talked about how often we need to be REMINDED of what we already know. So whether you are learning something new or simply being reminded of what you know about God, I pray that the verses and reflection questions this week will bless you and lead you into worship and sweet fellowship with God, your Creator.

As I was preparing for this week's study, I tried something new! I recorded myself reading the verses below and then just listened to them over and over and over, letting the sweet words of Scripture wash over my mind. (This really is a holy brainwashing!) I'm sharing it with you as well, in case you want to listen. It's just the verses. No commentary or other talk. Just the pure, living word of God. You can read along or just listen and meditate on the words. Listen all the way through or pause it after a certain verse catches your attention so you can think about it. LISTEN by clicking here. PRAYER
Lord God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and Creator of us, we pray that you would lead us this week to remember who you are as our Maker. Lead us into truth through your word, Holy Spirit, and transform us more and more into your glorious image. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
FIRST THOUGHTS
In the first book of the Bible, Genesis, God reveals himself to us and the world as the Creator of the universe and Lord over his creation. Many times in the Old Testament, we see God referred to as God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. That is who God was before earth was created and who God is now. How amazing that we get to know God and be blessed by him as our Creator. If we are believers who have given our lives to Jesus, we are adopted as God's children and are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ, even though we may not yet know how to live out those blessings. There is always more to learn and there are always more ways to grow.
STUDY
At the bottom of this email, you'll find quite a few scripture passages. Reading what God's word says will be more valuable that all I could ever write. If you want to print them out, click here. As I mentioned above, you can read them all at once, or reflect on one or two each day.
Maybe even pick one or more to memorize!

CLOSING PRAYER & PRAISE
God Almighty, Ruler of all Creation and Lord of my life, I am in awe. The heavens declare your glory and yet you have chosen to come close to me. You formed me and made me on purpose and you delight in me as your precious child. Help me know your love that is higher than the heavens, wider than the ocean, deeper than the grandest canyon. May I remember your majesty and strength this week and know that you have created me to do good works for your kingdom, in your power, and for your glory as you work in and through me. May I never cease to stand in awe of your glory.
In Jesus Name, amen.
